Bruce Seals
F · 3 seasons · 1975-76 – 1977-78
Two lenses, two verdicts. Bruce Seals ranks 2361st by career totals and 2532nd per game. 1975-76 was the high-water mark, worth -0.4, 99th that season and 11134th of 24,555 player-seasons on record. Career value accumulated in blocks (+1.0), points (+0.7) and rebounds (+0.7), and drained away in free-throw percentage (-3.0), field-goal percentage (-2.6) and assists (-1.2). The 171-place difference between his two bases is not noise: it is what he was worth per night set against how many nights he played.
